By Valley Life 247Sports Staff

Some coaches win games. Some coaches change cities. Coach Javon did both. Voted Coach of the Year, Coach Javon’s influence stretched far beyond the sideline. His name appeared in over 1,600 votes and was mentioned across multiple award categories — a clear sign that his impact was felt throughout the entire youth football community.

A proud Dallas Cowboys alum, Coach Javon left San Bernardino and built a powerful résumé in the Moreno Valley youth circuit. Though now coaching outside the city, his fingerprints are all over Moreno Valley football.

A VISION THAT MOVED A CITY

Coach Javon was directly responsible for bringing several Moreno Valley athletes to Perris to help build around one of the greatest high school players in the area, Sire Gains. That move shifted the balance of power.

Families followed.Athletes believed.A program was reborn.

Moreno Valley talent helped fuel Perris’ rise, and under Coach Javon’s leadership, that team captured a CIF Championship this past season.

TURNING STRUGGLE INTO DOMINANCE

Before his arrival, the program averaged just 6 points per game.

Under Coach Javon:

  • 203 points scored in 7 games

  • A complete culture reset

  • A championship mindset installed

He didn’t inherit success — he created it.

WHY THEY FOLLOW HIM

Players don’t follow systems — they follow people. Coach Javon’s leadership, belief, and accountability inspired athletes to leave comfort zones and chase something bigger.

He didn’t just build a team.He built belief.

LEGACY IN MOTION

Coach Javon is proof that coaching is about impact, not location. His influence across Moreno Valley and Perris changed lives, changed programs, and changed history.
