BOBBY WILLIAMS 12U DB OF THE YEAR:IV, THE GIANT IN THE SECONDARY

By Valley Life 247Sports Staff

Some players look small on the roster. Some play small on the field.

Bobby Williams IV does the opposite.

The 12U standout was named Moreno Valley Defensive Back of the Year, and his season was nothing short of legendary. Though one of the younger players on the field, Bobby played like a giant every time he lined up in the secondary.

A SHUTDOWN SEASON

Bobby’s numbers tell a story of total domination:

  • 9 interceptions

  • 14 pass deflections

  • 5 games with zero catches allowed

Quarterbacks avoided his side of the field. Receivers learned quickly that routes near Bobby were a risk. When the ball was thrown his way, it usually ended in regret.

He didn’t just defend passes — he erased an entire side of the field.

BUILT DIFFERENT

Bobby plays with discipline, confidence, and instincts far beyond his years. His footwork is sharp, his eyes are locked in, and his timing is perfect. He understands leverage, spacing, and angles — traits that can’t be taught easily.

He leads not by words, but by example.Every rep.Every snap.Every assignment.

EXCELLENCE IN THE CLASSROOM

Off the field, Bobby continues to shine. He maintains a 3.5 GPA, proving that focus and discipline are part of who he is. Coaches describe him as respectful, coachable, and a pleasure to teach.

You won’t find a better behaved or more locked-in athlete.

THE STANDARD

Bobby Williams IV represents what DB of the Year means: preparation, accountability, and impact. He doesn’t chase the spotlight — he lets his performance bring it to him.

And when the season ended, there was no doubt.

The giant in the secondary had arrived.
