EZEKIEL OVERSTREET: BUILT THROUGH COACHABILITY

By Valley Life 247Sports Staff

This season, Ezekiel Overstreet earned the title of 13U Offensive Lineman of the Year by doing something that often goes unnoticed in youth football — he became a true student of the game.

Ezekiel accepted the challenge placed in front of him each week. Whether it was learning a new assignment, correcting a technique, or adjusting to a tougher matchup, he showed a willingness to grow and improve. He approached every practice and every game with the mindset of someone who wanted to understand his role and execute it the right way.

STUDENT OF THE GAME

What stands out most about Ezekiel is his coachability. He listens. He asks questions. He applies what he’s taught.

He didn’t shy away from feedback — he embraced it. Every correction became a chance to get better. That attitude is what allowed him to take on new responsibilities and handle challenges throughout the season.

ACCEPTING THE WORK

Ezekiel came into each week knowing what he needed to do. He prepared, focused, and took his role seriously. His growth wasn’t about flash or hype — it was about effort, discipline, and consistency.

He may still be developing physically and technically, but his mindset is already aligned with what winning teams need in the trenches.

KEEP MOVING FORWARD

This recognition reflects a season of learning, effort, and accountability. Ezekiel’s path is still being written, but his approach shows he understands what it takes to improve.

He accepted the challenge. He stayed coachable. And he kept building.
