Rancho Verde evened its record at 3–3 with a 35–6 victory over Rancho Christian on October 2. The Mustangs rushed for 276 yards and five touchdowns while their defense allowed only six points and recorded three interceptions.
DeQuavion Moore led the running game with 109 yards and two touchdowns. George Campbell III added 87 yards and a score, and Kingston Morgan contributed 38 yards and a touchdown. Their work, supported by the offensive front, gave Rancho Verde several reliable sources of ground production.
The defense supplied another strong result after holding Moreno Valley to three points the previous week. Jae’Don O’Keith made five tackles, including two for loss. Meech Johnson added five tackles and one for loss.
Gareon Galloway, Isaiah Gilliam and Kaleb Smith each intercepted a pass. Three different players creating takeaways reflected the secondary’s shared involvement and gave the team another important way to influence the game.
Across two consecutive wins, Rancho Verde had scored 56 points and allowed nine. The turnaround in results was supported by repeatable contributions: a productive rushing rotation, work from the line and a defense limiting scoring while making plays on the ball. Moore’s 100-yard game supplied the leading individual offensive number in a victory with support throughout the roster.
