2026 SEASON ARCHIVE | Game played September 18, 2026 | Retrospective recap compiled October 25, 2026. Record immediately after this game: 3-1.
Valley View answered its first loss with a 49–7 victory over Upland on September 18. Robert Dunlap Jr. accounted for five touchdowns, and the Eagles improved to 3–1 with production spread across the passing game, running game and defense.
Dunlap threw for 207 yards and four touchdowns and added 20 rushing yards with another score. Bobby Greer supplied 138 rushing yards and a touchdown, plus 52 receiving yards and two touchdown catches. Greer’s three scores showed the value of a back who could affect both parts of the offense.
Kevins Favors caught three passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Dominic DuBois added two receptions for 36 yards and a score. With several players finishing scoring plays, Valley View did not have to rely on one receiving matchup to produce.
The defense held Upland to seven points. Logan Palacios recorded seven tackles, Joey Ward made five and intercepted a pass, and Jayden Neal added five tackles. Dominick Ross also had an interception, while Tommy Ricker-Edholm recorded a sack.
Alexis Martinez and Rhylen Bailey each received two pancake credits as the Eagles totaled 388 offensive yards. The victory supplied a clear response to the previous result: efficient scoring from Dunlap, versatility from Greer and a defense that limited Upland’s output. It was a positive step into the middle of Valley View’s schedule.
