Vista del Lago’s latest victory brought more than another mark in the win column. The Ravens beat Poly 51–27 on October 23, reached 8–1 overall and 4–0 in the Ivy League, and celebrated a 2,000-yard passer and a 1,000-yard rusher. A day later, quarterback Josiah Dupree-Boyd added a college commitment to an already memorable week.
Reporting under the name Josiah Boyd, 247Sports confirmed the Vista del Lago quarterback’s commitment to UCLA on October 24. The announcement is a significant individual achievement and another reason for the school community to celebrate a player whose production has helped drive the Ravens’ seven-game winning streak.
Against Poly, Dupree-Boyd completed 26 of 31 passes for 389 yards and three touchdowns. His published season totals reached 2,041 passing yards and 22 passing touchdowns. Mikya Adams supplied 95 rushing yards and three scores on 19 carries, pushing his season rushing total to 1,009 yards with 12 touchdowns. Their milestones reflect different roles in the same productive offense.
Jae’lynn Brown caught nine passes for 162 yards and all three passing touchdowns. His published receiving line now stands at 46 catches, 983 yards and 13 touchdowns in six reported appearances. He has already reached 1,001 all-purpose yards; the separate 1,000-yard receiving milestone is still 17 yards away.
Polo Greer caught 11 passes for 156 yards, giving the Ravens another major receiving performance. Adrian Bravo Rodriguez added a 35-yard rushing touchdown. Together, the contributions helped Vista del Lago finish with 558 offensive yards against Poly and 337 points across its nine completed games.
The offensive line belongs in that story. Moses Rogers, Nehemiah White, Deven Durley, Sekona Manu and Nathan Giron have helped support the rushing and passing production. Manu and Giron each received a pancake credit against Poly. The latest season report lists 14 for White, 13 each for Durley and Manu, and 10 for Giron. The unit’s work gives the skill players room and time to make their contributions count.
The defense has its own established performers. Isaac Gonzalez’s latest reported line includes 79 tackles and six sacks. Alijah Shivers has 17 tackles for loss and seven sacks, while Jordan Edwards has 11 tackles for loss and four sacks. Those defensive totals cover fewer appearances than the team’s nine games and should be read as the latest submitted figures. Brian Abarca added six extra points and a field goal against Poly.
For coach Mike Tuohy’s Ravens, the strongest part of this stretch is the range of contributions behind the results. A college commitment, major yardage milestones, blocking, defensive disruption and special-teams points all have a place in the season’s story. Rancho Christian is the next opponent on Vista del Lago’s listed regular-season schedule.
