Valley View’s 38–28 victory over Paloma Valley on October 22 gave the Eagles a seventh win and another set of individual achievements to celebrate. At 7–2 overall and 3–1 in the Sunbelt League, coach Eric Martinez’s team has paired a productive offense with contributions across defense, special teams and the line.

Bobby Greer rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries. The performance brought him to 1,297 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns. Add his two receiving touchdowns, and Greer has reached 20 total scores in nine games—a clear milestone in a season built on steady production and versatility.

Robert Dunlap Jr. threw for 271 yards and three touchdowns against Paloma Valley, raising his published season totals to 1,704 passing yards and 22 passing touchdowns. His latest touchdown passes reached three different receivers, another sign of the number of players contributing to Valley View’s scoring.

Kaden Cooper caught five passes for 92 yards and a touchdown. Dominic DuBois added three receptions for 87 yards and a score, while Kaijon Mathis supplied a 21-yard touchdown catch. Kevins Favors finished with four receptions for 67 yards. Cooper now has 400 receiving yards and six touchdowns in four reported appearances; Favors has 30 catches for 367 yards.

DuBois also intercepted a pass and contributed in the return game. His published season line reached 1,022 all-purpose yards and 10 total touchdowns. That yardage includes receiving, kickoff returns, punt returns and interception returns, recognizing a player whose impact extends beyond one offensive role.

Rhylen Bailey led the latest tackle report with nine. His broader season contribution includes 42 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 11 pancake blocks, giving the Eagles production on both sides of the ball. Joey Ward added six tackles against Paloma Valley, Jason Viramontes recorded three pass breakups, and Zion Ashburn-Wilson intercepted a pass. Scott Baldwin’s five season interceptions remain another notable defensive achievement.

Special teams helped complete the score. Jason Hood made a 36-yard field goal and four extra points, while Josue Niebla added an extra point. Those contributions matter in a 10-point victory and deserve recognition alongside the touchdowns.

Valley View has now followed its loss to Moreno Valley with consecutive wins over Perris and Paloma Valley, scoring 85 points across those two games. The response gives the Eagles momentum entering their listed finale at Hillcrest. Greer’s scoring milestone and DuBois’ all-purpose milestone lead the celebration, with a large supporting cast making the progress possible.
