Canyon Springs is building a strong finish to its regular season. A 26–10 victory at Hemet on October 22 moved the Cougars to 6–3 overall and 3–1 in the Inland Valley League. They have won three consecutive games, outscoring Lakeside, Citrus Hill and Hemet by a combined 99–23.

The latest victory showcased the passing game. Angel Robles threw for 214 yards and three touchdowns, taking his published season totals to 1,239 passing yards and 11 passing scores, along with 270 rushing yards. The performance gave Canyon Springs an effective way to complement a ground attack that had carried much of the previous week’s production.

Michael Joslin supplied the biggest listed receiving play with a 93-yard touchdown catch. Keyon’Tay Edwards caught five passes for 52 yards and a score, and Jaxon Taylor added a 24-yard touchdown reception. Three different scoring targets gave the passing performance a shared character.

Taylor’s season totals now include 710 rushing yards, nine rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns. Those 11 total scores make him a central contributor while also showing the value of his work beyond the running game. Donte Todd added 62 rushing yards, 19 receiving yards and 30 kickoff-return yards against Hemet—111 all-purpose yards from three different kinds of involvement.

The receiving group has several established contributors. Todd has 320 published receiving yards, Aaron Triplett has 314, and Edwards has 213 with four touchdowns. The Hemet game gave Joslin a major highlight alongside that season-long work.

Nathan Castro and Jordan Jones each recorded seven tackles in the latest box score, while Isaac Garcia added six. Edwin Miranda contributed a sack and made a 41-yard field goal and three extra points, in addition to handling four punts. Adrian Hernandez recovered a fumble, and Alec Johnson forced one. Those defensive and special-teams efforts helped turn the passing production into a complete winning result.

Joseph Turner’s published season work includes four sacks, four tackles for loss and three forced fumbles. Jason Reynoso has 10 pancake blocks in six reported appearances. They represent two more parts of the Cougars’ progress: pressure on opponents and blocking for teammates.

Coach Kyle McFadden’s team has allowed only 37 points across four league games. After the one-point loss to Heritage, Canyon Springs has responded with three wins and several different players providing the leading performances. Arlington is next on the listed schedule, with the Cougars carrying both a winning record and a clear run of positive results into that matchup.
